H2X Global Investor Update - H2X Announces a Strategic Production and Sales Partnership with FES

We are pleased to share that H2X Global Limited announces a strategic production and sales partnership with FES GmbH Fahrzeug-Entwicklung Sachsen (FES) — one of Germany’s most capable vehicle engineering and manufacturing groups — to produce and distribute hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles.

🧩 Investor Highlights

This agreement gives H2X immediate scalability to deliver up to 300 vehicles per year, including the Paroo light commercial platform (3.5–5.5 tonnes) and the Yarra truck range (18–26 tonnes).

The Yarra, which has already successfully completed its European roadworthiness accreditation, is now available for order. The 26-tonne fuel cell truck shares the same modular design as the 18-tonne platform but with a second rear axle — supporting commercial applications such as full compactor systems for waste collection.

This five-year agreement marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, positioned for major growth as hydrogen adoption accelerates under new emissions regulations. Many of these vehicles will still be on the road when EU zero-emission standards take effect in four years (Regulation (EU) 2019/631, amended 2023).

On average, commercial vehicles remain in service for around 12 years. With EU zero-emission regulations taking effect in 2030, most vehicles purchased today will still be operating when these rules apply. To achieve compliance organically, fleet operators must begin transitioning to zero-emission vehicles now. Yet, no major automaker currently offers hydrogen-powered options in this segment — leaving a clear market gap that this partnership is uniquely positioned to fill.

The first phase of this partnership will deliver certified, road-proven hydrogen vehicles for European and Scandinavian customers, expanding to new markets from 2026. It also integrates H2X’s proprietary Type IV hydrogen tanks, now a standalone commercial product generating early sales.

Battery-electric systems face growing limits at heavier weights — reduced payload, long charge times, and weaker cold-climate performance. Hydrogen power overcomes these constraints, offering near full payload, quick refuelling, and continuous operation.

Through the partnership with FES, H2X combines Toyota’s proven fuel cell technology, German manufacturing excellence, and our scalable hydrogen systems to deliver practical, high-performance vehicles ready for the next generation of clean transport.
