Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY): Doubles Mojave Landholding, Strengthens U.S. Critical Minerals Position

🔍 Positioned at the heart of America’s critical minerals strategy

Locksley Resources Limited (ASX:LKY | OTCQB:LKYRF) has taken a major step forward in the Mojave Critical Minerals Corridor, securing an additional 249 claims and doubling its strategic footprint to over 40 sq km. The new ground directly abuts MP Materials’ Mountain Pass Rare Earth Mine — the only producing rare earths mine and processing facility in North America

📌 Why It Matters:

  • Prime positioning: The expansion strengthens Locksley’s footprint adjacent to MP Materials and other high-value ground, enhancing its competitive advantage in a globally strategic region.

  • Critical minerals opportunity: The new claims provide exposure to antimony, rare earth elements (REEs), and polymetallic prospects, aligning with U.S. priorities to secure domestic supply chains.

  • Geopolitical tailwinds: Rising U.S. pressure to reduce reliance on China for REEs and antimony underscores the strategic value of Locksley’s assets.

  • Mine-to-market optionality: The larger footprint supports Locksley’s integrated strategy, combining upstream development with downstream processing opportunities.

  • Pipeline acceleration: The Company plans to fast-track exploration, mapping, and sampling programs in Q4 2025 to unlock potential drilling targets.

💬 Julian Woodcock, Technical Director of Locksley Resources, commented:

“This expansion materially enhances our strategic footprint in the Mojave Corridor, a region central to U.S. critical minerals security. With additional ground abutting our existing claims and adjoining the MP Materials Mountain Pass larger claim package, we are exceptionally well positioned to advance a diversified pipeline of exploration and downstream opportunities across antimony, rare earths, other critical minerals and precious metals potential.”
