H2X Global Selected for the AWS Clean Energy Accelarator 3.0

H2X Global has recently announced that it has been selected as one of 15 startup businesses that will participate in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Clean Energy Accelerator 3.0.

The non-equity, high-paced dilutive program is designed to assist mature startups in accelerating the global decarbonisation process at scaled levels. This will facilitate the developing breakthroughs in clean energy technologies, as demonstrated by H2X Global's initiatives. AWS focuses on fostering rapid growth and innovation in the clean energy technology sector - a crucial aspect in addressing the global climate crisis. 


 

Howard Gefen, the General Manager of Energy and Utilities at AWS, welcomes this newfound collaboration,

The founder and CEO of H2X, Brendan Normal returns the enthusiasm towards to collaboration, expressing his excitement to join the AWS program and work towards overcoming the challenges of decarbonisation.

The AWS Clean Energy Accelerator 3.0 outlines its primary focus areas as developing: carbon capture, advanced materials, utility and storage, economic hydrogen generation, transport, energy storage, grid modernisation, energy security and reliance. 

The program will spur innovation through energy collaborations. Leaders will mentor mature startups, such as H2X, on topics ranging from energy, investment, innovation and advanced research. Leading energy companies will work with the startups in addressing issues surrounding clean energy and decarbonisation. AWX will provide further guidance in accelerating experimentation, expanding automation, and delivering deeper insights. 

The AWS program will include 12 weeks of programming, including international exchange sprints to foster technological innovation hubs around the world. H2X will be involved with the AWS Innovation Showcase, that will be held during the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai. The event will highlight startups showcasing their clean energy technology innovation and pilot program.
